White Buffalo Girl, Daughter of Black Elk and Moon Hawk of Ponca Tribe, died.  Four days into the journey of the Ponca from NE to OK, White Buffalo Girl died.  For the past 136 years, the people of Neligh have been caring for the grave of White Buffalo Girl.
