2021 Stromsburg Swedish Festival-The Earl ‘Helge’ Byleen Road Race

SATURDAY, JUNE 18, 2022 – 8:00 a.m.

10,000 Meter, 5,000 Meter and One-Mile Fun Run

Stromsburg’s Swedish Festival will sponsor a 10K (6.2miles) Race and 5K (3.1 miles) Race.  Also available is a One-Mile Fun Run.  The course is all level one and is entirely on pavement, beginning at the Fire Station, Fifth and Commercial Streets, one block north of the northeast corner of the town square, ending at the same place.

Entry fee is $25.00.  Children 15 and under are $12.  The entry is non-refundable.

This race is chip timed so results will be fast and accurate.

THE RACE YOU REGISTER FOR CANNOT BE CHANGED THE DAY OF THE RACE.

All registrations that are received by Tuesday, June 1, 2021 are guaranteed a race t-shirt.  Packets can be picked up from 5-7 pm on Friday, June 18th @ Fire Station or Saturday from 7-7:30 a.m. on race day.

A first and second place medal will be awarded to both men and women, 10k and 5k, in each of these categories: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.  Also, the first place over-all winners, men and women, will each receive a trophy.  There will be medals for first and second place for the One-Mile Fun Run in these categories for each boys and girls: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-16, 17 & 0ver.  Medal ceremony at 9:15 am.

NOTE:  5K & 10K  WILL START 8:00.  ONE MILE RACE WILL START AT 8:05

Granola Bars, fruit & water will be available after the race.
