Are Groups public or private?

The Group Owner (typically, the user who created the group) can decide if the Group is Public or Private. Public Groups display information about the group, such as Group quantity and activity mileage, to the general public. With private groups, this information will only be available to members of the group.

Can anyone join my group? How do I create a "closed" group for just my friends and family?

Public groups are open for anyone to join. Private groups require permission from the Group Owner.

Can I log miles I've completed in the past?

All activities completed after Jan. 1 can be entered into your activity log. However, only activity completed in the current calendar year will count toward this year's challenge. When logging your activity, you can select a past date to log activities you've previously completed.

Can I use other applications or websites to log miles?

Currently, miles can only be logged on your My Miles. If you are using other applications or website to log, you can export your activity log as a .csv file, which can be opened and imported into other applications that accept .csv import.

Can other users see my progress? Can I see how my friends' progress?

By default, everyone’s progress is kept private. If you’d like to share your progress or see how your family and friends are doing, create a group. Each group will have a leader board displaying group participant’s mileage and total mileage for the group. Each group participant will be able to view this leader board.

Does the website store or share any of my private information?

We collect non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. Our purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how our visitors use this website.

From time to time, we may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website. Learn more about our privacy policy.

How can I attend events listed on this site? Can I register my event?

There is an online events directory that will allow you to connect with events across the state. 

Are you organizing an event that you would like to share with other participatns? Submit your event using this form and we will get back to you shortly.

How can I share with my friends, family and coworkers?

Share your adventures on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram using #WellPowerUp. They can also visit this site for more information and to sign up.

How can my organization become a sponsor?

How do I add my mileage to my group?

Some groups are focused on a specific activity, like "Running" or "Cycling". In those groups, only miles logged with that corresponding activity will be added to the group total.

How do I change my password?

When you are logged in, visit your account page. Above your personal information you will see a button that says "Edit," here you can change your password.

How do I earn badges?

Earning badges is easy - just log your miles, and badges will appear automatically in your Trophy Room as you reach specific milestones.

Badges are awarded for overall mileage as well as each activity, and there are also badges for attending events and visiting Nebraska State Parks. Plus, we'll announce more ways to earn badges throughout the year - so keep trying new ways to log your miles!

How do I edit my profile, email address or contact information?

Log in to your account and visit your Account Settings. There, you can edit your account information, including your name, age group, email address, notification settings and more.

How do I edit/delete miles or an activity I've already logged?

Log in to your account, then visit your My Miles, where you can view and edit all activities you've logged.

How do I find a trail? What if the trail I'm searching for isn't listed?

We offer an online trails directory. You can search for trails near you and sort the results by the activity you are interested in.

If you don't see your trail or waterway, let us know! Submit your trail and we will review your submission.

How do I leave a Group?

You can leave a group by visiting the groups page and clicking the "Leave Group" link on the right side of the page.

How do I log my miles?

After logging into your account, find the ‘submit an activity’ section on the right side of the homepage. Beneath the ‘submit an activity’ section, select the type of physical activity you participated in. Next, enter in the date and how many miles you completed and click ‘submit.’ Your miles will be logged instantly.

If your activity is not listed in the main drop down, please utilize the activity converter located just below the "Log my Miles" section. This tool will allow you to covert your activity into miles.

How do I sign up?

To sign up, select the "Register" button at the top of the homepage. You will then be directed to a registration page. After completing the form, you will receive an email confirmation to activate your account and instructions on how to use the website using your username and password.

How do I start a group?

While logged in to your account, visit the Groups Page. Enter some basic information about your group (such as Group Name, Group Description, and if you want the Group visible to the general public or if you want your group hidden, etc.) and submit your Group for review. The staff will review all group submissions, and you should hear back shortly once your group has been approved.

How do I view all my activity miles?

Check out your activity log to see all the miles you've entered. You can also edit and delete past entries here as well

How much does it cost to join?

The website is always free to use! Simply visit our registration page to get started.

I cannot find my registration email.

Please check your spam folder, the email may have been directed there.

I don't know my password - how do I reset it?

You can request a new password. In order to request a new password, you must use the email address you used to register

I'm a Group Owner. Can I edit my Group?

Group Owners can remove existing members or block users from joining a Group. If you are a Group Owner and you would like to change the name or description of your Group, you can submit your change and we will respond shortly.

I’m a Group Owner of a Private Group. How do I grant admission to another user?

Once you’re logged in to your account, visit your Group page. You will see a link to view pending requests to join your group.

My activity isn't listed. How do I log my activity?

There is an activity converter below the "Log my miles" column. The activity converter allows you to convert activities that do not calculate to miles such as outdoor aerobics, tennis and soccer.

To convert miles, select the activity and the duration of time you participated in that activity and click the green "Convert" button. Your activity will be completed into miles walked and can be logged and added to your total miles completed.
