Buffalo Run

The Lincoln Track Club, in coordination with the Lincoln Running Company, is proud to present the 47th annual Buffalo Run, set for Sunday, Sept. 17th, at Lincoln's beautiful Pioneers Park.

This will be Buffalo Run: strictly adhering to the LLCHD directives at the time of the race. It will be an in-person race (no virtual component here!), but there may be a few slight changes required by the local health department and designed to protect the safety of all runners as much as possible. We will keep you up to date on the latest info. Don't worry! The challenge of the hills will still be in play. THAT hasn't changed a bit.

Here are the details:

WHEN: Sunday, Sept. 17, 8 a.m. Please enter the park via Van Dorn Street.

RACE DETAILS: The 5 Mile course is challenging but beautiful, running in the hilly roads of Pioneers Park. The traditional 5 mile course will be run.

PACKET PICKUP: Packet pickup will be at the Lincoln Running Co on Friday, Sept. 15, from 10am-5:30pm and Saturday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. You will have the option to select a packet pickup time when you register. . There will be race day packet pickup at Pioneers Park, beginning at 7 a.m., but this is reserved for our out-of-town competitors.

The Buffalo Run is the oldest continuous race hosted in Lincoln, the Lincoln Track Club and Lincoln Running Co. are proud of this race and the 46 years of running it. We hope to see you all on Sept. 17 at Pioneers Park.
