For the safety of all participants and the community, our City permits require a 4-hour time limit, measured from when the last runner starts. This equates to an 18:20-per-mile pace. However, early course cutoff points will be enforced at a 17:00-per-mile pace to facilitate road reopenings.
Cutoff Points:
Runners must reach the following points within the required pace; otherwise, they will be directed to sidewalks, trails, or offered SAG Wagon transport:
- Mile 1 – 17:00 min/mile pace
- Mile 2 – 17:00 min/mile pace
- Mile 5 – 17:00 min/mile pace
- Mile 7 – 17:00 min/mile pace
- Water Stations 4 – 17:30 min/mile pace
- Water Station 5 – 18:00 min/mile pace
Pacing Recommendation:
If you are concerned about meeting the time limits, we strongly recommend starting with the 2:40 pace group rather than at the back of the pack.
Race officials may adjust time limits as needed for participant flow and overall safety.
