Leprechaun Chase – A 10K Run with a Twist The Leprechaun Chase isn’t just a 10K with kilt-wearing bagpipers—this is a chase of lads versus lasses. The race kicks off with the lasses in the first wave, followed by the lads (5½ minutes later.) Whoever crosses the finish line first wins the coveted Leprechaun Chase Green Jacket. The Leprechaun Chase is known for being one of the finest 10K course in Nebraska. From its aircraft start line to the scenic views of Mahoney State Park, lads and lasses from far and wide come every year to take it on.
Bring your skill (and a little luck) and run a PR while decked out in green from head to toe. Lasses start the race in the first wave and the lads chase them 5 ½ minutes later. Whoever finishes the race first wins the coveted Leprechaun Chase Green Jacket
